Kayak Paddle: Upper Scotts Flat Lake
April 20 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm$15
Upper Scotts Flat is a scenic lake, located just east of Nevada City at an elevation of approximately 3,100 feet. Fed by Deer Creek, it is surrounded by wooded hills, offering paddling up to the infeed creek and along approximately 7.5 miles of shoreline. Bring your lunch and water. We’ll plan to stop at a nice beach along the way. This is a fairly easy paddle, at a leisurely to moderate pace, appropriate for most skill levels, though reach out if you have a question as to fit. Paddlers will be 18 years of age or older. We want to stick together as a group, staying safe and happy.
Please give some thought to your footprint upon the watershed along our journey!
