Cascade Canal Trail Bird Walk

This field trip will be an exploration of the Little Deer Creek watershed with Sierra Foothills Audubon president, Rudy Darling. While the focus will be on birds, we will also explore the mammals, plants, and history of the area. Birds might include Pacific Wren, Pileated Woodpecker, Nashville Warbler, Black-headed Grosbeak, N. Pygmy-Owl.

Meet Rudy at the Cascade Canal auxiliary parking area, which is a tenth of a mile or two downhill from Banner-Lava Cap Rd. on Gracie Road, Nevada City (NOT the disputed lot at the corner of Gracie and Banner-Lava Cap Rds.).
